Taste of Limmud JHB a huge success

Just under 200 people attended last Sunday’s ‘Taste of Limmud’ at King David School in Linksfield. Organisers Michal Lipshitz and Warren Goldstuck said this was in line with Limmud’s expectations. Registration for Limmud Conference Johannesburg is now open.

The event featured a variety of engaging sessions on a diverse array of topics. The presenters represented the broad spectrum of the Jewish Community, including top community minds such as David Bilchitz, Chuck Volpe, Joy Margolis, David Lubinsky and Dennis Davis, as well as an up & coming stars like Claudine Ullman, Yochanan Ress, Shaun Woolf & Amy Price.

Limmud will be utilising their residential model yet again to create a Shabbos-friendly weekend, which will take place from the 3rd-5th August at the Tsogo Sun Lifestyle Resort on the Vaal. There will be a number of top international speakers in attendance including Gershon Baskin, a key negotiator in the deal to release Gilad Shalit.
