Introducing this year’s co-chairs:

Terri Pillemer
Terri Pillemer, a business owner and devoted mother of three from Umhlanga, has been an integral part of Limmud South Africa for over a decade. Through her various roles in the Limmud Durban committee and with Limmud International, she strives to sustain the essence of learning, inspiration, community and Jewish “peoplehood” that defines the event. Her hope for Limmud 2024 is simple: to continue sharing these enriching experiences with Durban and showcase why our Limmud, despite its small size, holds such high regard among attendees.

Janine Lieberthal
Janine Lieberthal is a dedicated advocate for communal work, a loving mother, grandmother, and wife. Her discovery of Limmud, through events like Limmud Durban 2023 and Limmud UK, has been transformative. Despite feeling like a newcomer, Janine enthusiastically contributes to the volunteer group, aspiring to make a meaningful impact on the community.
